In September of 2003, ASPIRA opened the Mirta Ramirez Computer Science Charter School MR(cs)2 to bridge the “digital divide”. MR(cs)2 provides a rigorous and comprehensive high school education focusing on computer science. Students will also be academically prepared to enter and succeed into a program of postsecondary education or obtain meaningful employment opportunities.

College Preparatory Curriculum

• Students obtain a high quality high school curriculum.

• Students receive tutoring to score well on ACT and college entrance exams.
• Students may earn college credits through Wright College.

Mirta Ramirez Computer Science Charter School is an affiliate member of High Tech High®, funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation initiative to establish new, small schools that adhere to the essential design elements of High Tech High®.
